As the holiday season unfolds, Seafront Residences, an Aboitiz Land project devoted to sustainable development, is offering a unique present to the environment. Nestled in Brgy. Calubcub II in San Juan, Seafront Residences isn’t just a premium coastal community but also a symbol of eco-consciousness.
In this festive spirit, Seafront Residences has been ardently committed to conserving the area’s natural diversity. The Pawikan Sanctuary Project, launched in partnership with Aboitiz Foundation, DENR, and UP Diliman in 2018, focuses on safeguarding endangered sea turtle species, particularly the Olive Ridley turtles nesting along San Juan’s coastline. It initiated a comprehensive five-year plan that includes research, monitoring, hatchling facilities, and community educational programs.
Functioning as a champion of conservation, Seafront Residences conducts regular initiatives. On December 16, the Pawikan Night Patrol monitored the return of the pawikans to shore, symbolizing life in the marine ecosystem. Activities like community star-gazing sessions and film showings aimed to strengthen the community’s connection with nature and promote environmental preservation.
Furthermore, on December 17, a Pawikans Hatchling Releasing event was organized, marking the departure of young turtles into the sea, and reinforcing the commitment to protect these species.
Contributing to these activities were volunteers from Aboitiz Land, Seafront Residences residents, and representatives from local authorities and organizations.

The recent recognition at the FIABCI Philippines Property and Real Estate Excellence Awards 2022, where Seafront Residences received a Silver Award in the Environmental Category, underlines the significance of their sustainable practices.
